SAYAOKE nationwide karaoke competition brings singers into live battles

TNT has announced SAYAOKE nationwide karaoke competition, an online singing program that will connect aspiring performers from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao through live, real-time battles powered by TNT 5G. The weekly showdowns will be streamed on TikTok Live, allowing audiences to follow the competition online.

According to the announcement, the format is intended to show how connectivity can enable shared experiences across distances. It moves participants from online auditions to live weekly showdowns, while fans can watch the performances on TikTok Live. The setup links the audition process, nationwide booths, and remote audience participation in one program.

Auditions will use the Vivaoke app

Aspiring singers can create audition videos through the Vivaoke app, which TNT identifies as its official audition platform. The app features Viva’s OPM music library. After preparing their videos, participants can submit them during registration through the TNT SAYAOKE website at sayaoke.tntph.com.

TNT said 48 finalists will be selected from the auditions. These finalists will proceed to an online bootcamp with vocal coaching and mentoring ahead of the live competition. The source material does not specify the audition deadline, selection schedule, or bootcamp dates.

The finalists will compete in weekly live showdowns through SAYAOKE Birit Booths that will be deployed nationwide. According to TNT, each weekly competition will offer a chance to win P300,000 in cash. The announcement does not state how many weekly competitions will be held or provide a final event date.

Viewers can vote through TNT promos

TNT subscribers who are not competing in the weekly showdowns can still participate in SAYAOKE through TikTok Live and voting. Fans can load select TNT promos to earn voting credits, which can be used to support their preferred singers during the live shows.

TNT also said subscribers will have opportunities to win prizes, including cash, 5G smartphones, motorcycles, e-bikes, and other items. The announcement does not identify the specific eligible promos, prize quantities, or mechanics for these activities.

The campaign’s format positions SAYAOKE nationwide karaoke competition as a connectivity-led entertainment program, with participants performing from different locations and audiences following the battles online. Lloyd R. Manaloto, FVP and OIC at Smart Communications, Inc., said connectivity is important to how Filipinos experience entertainment, pursue their passions, and connect with one another. He added that the program gives people across the three major island groups an opportunity to share their talent in real time.

TNT 5G supports the booths

TNT said its SAYAOKE Birit Booths will be powered by TNT 5G. The company describes the network as supporting video streaming, gaming, and real-time content sharing. These are company claims; the announcement provides no independent testing details for the competition’s booth setup or live broadcasts.

TNT also said it has recently expanded its 5G footprint to Iloilo City, Bacolod City, Davao City, and Zamboanga City, with additional key areas planned. TNT 5G is powered by Smart. The source further states that Ookla recognized Smart for the Best Mobile Video Experience in the Philippines for the first half of 2026, citing a Video Score of 72.82. That recognition and score are presented by the company in the announcement.
