TCL brings BlueArk X1 home battery system to the Philippines, with capacity up to 128kWh

TCL is bringing its BlueArk X1 residential energy storage system to the Philippines, combining solar power management, battery storage, and an inverter in one setup designed for household electricity use.

Developed through TCL Solar and TCL PV TECH, the system is designed to store excess solar energy for later use, including at night and during grid outages. TCL says the BlueArk X1 starts at 8kWh of battery capacity and can expand to 128kWh, depending on household requirements.

TCL BlueArk X1 combines solar storage and energy management

The BlueArk X1 integrates an inverter, battery system, and Energy Management System (EMS). Together, these components manage how electricity from solar panels and stored energy is supplied to household appliances.

The integrated design is intended to simplify installation and day-to-day energy management. Digital monitoring features also let homeowners track energy flows and manage how they use their stored power.

“We are happy to announce this breakthrough. Designed around a fully integrated framework, the BlueArk X1 combines the inverter, battery system, and Energy Management System (EMS) into one streamlined footprint,” TCL Philippines CEO Peter Chen said.

The company says the system can support everyday electricity consumption, evening use, and backup power during unexpected outages. Actual performance will depend on the installed configuration, household demand, solar generation, and available battery charge.

Battery capacity expands from 8kWh to 128kWh

TCL describes the BlueArk X1 as a modular system that can scale with a household’s energy needs, starting at 8kWh and reaching up to 128kWh.

That range gives homeowners flexibility to configure storage around their expected consumption. However, the announcement does not specify the number of battery modules required, installation requirements, or how long a particular configuration can power household appliances during an outage.

TCL has also yet to disclose Philippine pricing, local distributors, installation procedures, or eligibility requirements in the supplied announcement.

Single-phase models planned for October 2026

TCL PV TECH’s rollout plan includes two single-phase BlueArk X1 models rated at 6kW and 8kW, with availability scheduled to begin in October 2026.

A three-phase series is planned for 2027, targeting larger homes with higher power requirements.

The announcement describes the BlueArk X1 as available in the Philippine market while also identifying October 2026 as the rollout window for the single-phase series. Buyers should confirm local availability and installation arrangements with TCL before making purchasing decisions.

The BlueArk X1 forms part of TCL PV TECH’s broader energy portfolio, which includes photovoltaic modules, residential and commercial energy storage, and grid-management solutions.
