Kia Philippines is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the all-new Kia EV3, bringing the brand’s latest EV technology and SUV design into a more compact package for the Philippine market.
The EV3 arrives after being named the 2025 World Car of the Year, alongside international design recognition from Red Dot and iF. Kia is positioning the model as a more accessible entry into its growing electric SUV range, drawing design and technology cues from larger models such as the EV5 and EV9.
The EV3 is priced at ₱1,868,000 under an introductory offer, down from its regular ₱1,898,000 price with an included wall charger. Reservations opened September 21, while deliveries are scheduled to begin October 1.
Kia shrinks its electric SUV formula
The EV3 carries Kia’s latest interpretation of its Digital Tiger Face, with geometric body surfacing and signature LED headlights.
Its compact SUV proportions are paired with flush door handles, roof rails, a rear spoiler and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, Kia takes a similar approach to its larger EVs, combining a technology-heavy dashboard with practical cabin features.
The centerpiece is a 30-inch Triple Panoramic Display, combining the digital instrument cluster, infotainment screen and a 5.3-inch climate-control display.
The cabin also includes leather upholstery, an eight-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support and dual-zone automatic climate control.
A sliding console tray provides additional workspace or storage, while the 60:40 split-folding rear seats allow the cabin to be reconfigured for larger loads.
511km of claimed range
The EV3 uses a front-mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor producing 204 PS and 283 Nm of torque.
Power comes from a 58.3kWh lithium-ion battery, with Kia claiming an NEDC driving range of up to 511 kilometers on a single charge.
Charging times vary depending on the power source. Using an 11kW AC charger, Kia lists a 10% to 80% charging time of 5 hours and 20 minutes. A 350kW DC fast charger can bring the battery from 10% to 80% in 29 minutes, according to the company.
The Philippine model also comes with an included wall charger.
DriveWise brings driver assistance features
Kia equips the EV3 with its DriveWise suite of driver-assistance and safety technologies.
The package includes Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Forward Collision Avoidance with Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Blindspot Safety Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Safety.
Seven airbags are standard, covering front, side and curtain protection.
Other safety and parking features include Electronic Stability Control, Hill-Start Assist, front and rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera.
Wireless connectivity comes standard
The EV3’s cabin also includes several features aimed at reducing cable clutter.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, alongside two wireless charging pads and five USB-C ports.
A six-speaker audio system completes the standard cabin technology package.
The combination gives the EV3 a technology-heavy interior while retaining practical features such as its sliding console tray and folding rear seats.
EV3 starts at ₱1.868 million
Kia Philippines lists the EV3 at ₱1,898,000, with a wall charger included in the package. The electric SUV is currently available at an introductory price of ₱1,868,000, with the offer running until October 31.
The introductory package also includes five years of free Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS). The EV3 comes with a five-year or 160,000-kilometer vehicle warranty and an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer high-voltage battery warranty, whichever comes first.
The EV3 is available in seven exterior colors, including Aventurine Green, Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black, Terra Cotta, Frost Blue, Shale Grey, and Ivory Silver.
