Mobile Legends: Bang Bang celebrates 7th Anniversary

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Philippines (MLBB PH) is celebrating its 7th anniversary in the Philippines with a corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign called MLBB Ann7versaya. The campaign is in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – National Capital Region (DENR-NCR) and aims to help instill in the young minds of Filipino gamers the shared responsibility to take care of Pasig River.

The campaign was launched on October 7, 2023 at Filipino-Chinese Friendship Park, Binondo, Manila. During the launch, a boat revealed a huge cake with hundreds of plants that will help improve the quality of water such as Water Hyacinth, Vetiver, Areca Palm, Boston Fern, and Dracaena. The plants were turned over to the DENR-NCR.

“MLBB Ann7versaya is our way of celebrating our seventh year in the Philippines by giving back to the community. We hope to remind our Filipino gamers that they can be heroes in-game or in the real world, by taking small steps in taking care of our environment,” says Chai Gutierrez, MOONTON Games Marketing Manager for Gaming.

“Pasig River is going legendary! We’re so pleased and excited to be working with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Philippines in building and rebuilding a community that promotes social interaction and responsibility! Pasig River is more than just the ‘most well-known river in the metro’. Rather, it’s where dreams flourish and victories are planted. Speak of that, the plant giveaway was such a huge success,” says Raphael Torres, DENR-NCR Public Relations Officer.

Popular MLBB gamers and content creators OKATA, HYPEBITS, Nics Orense, JAYAT Gaming, and Shyr Balagtas were also present to lead the campaign and encourage their followers to make their small efforts to revitalize the river.
