\nA successful Beijing experience in Manila last September 21, 2018, at 3rd level (by PowerMac and Crate and Barrel), SM Aura Premier was seen as the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development once again brought \u201cCharming Beijing: Beijing Tourism Promotion\u201d to the Philippines.<\/p>\n

It was a day wherein guests were able to catch a glimpse of the charm and beauty of China\u2019s capital that is Beijing. With the theme, \u201cThe Silk Road Bridges East and West, New Beijing Resonates with People,\u201d it reflects China\u2019s endeavors to revitalize the Silk Road\u2019s eminence into the modern times.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, we hope to use this opportunity to promote Beijing tourism, deepen tourism cooperation between the two countries, let more Filipinos understand China, understand Beijing, and further expand Beijing\u2019s reach and connection in the Philippines tourism market,\u201d said Li Zunjing, Director of Legal Affairs Department, Tourism Department, Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development, during the Charming Beijing program.<\/p>\n

The one-day free admission event had activities highlighting many of Beijing\u2019s unique characteristics. People were able to visit the Great Wall of China via the Beijing Virtual Reality Experience. The artists came out as guests immersed in the enjoyable \u201cI Heart Beijing\u201d Arts and Calligraphy Workshop. Attendees also got to try the 360\u00b0 Beijing Photo Booth where they dressed up as an emperor or empress while striking a pose. And lastly, the Beijing Photography Exhibit gave a chance for the attendees to see the different views of China\u2019s charming capital. Guests also witnessed a Traditional Lion Dance by the Rui Dragon and Lion Dance Group and a wushu exhibition by the Philippine Cultural College Wushu Lion and Dragon Team.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Philippines and China are geographically close, and has a long history together. The long-standing friendship between the two countries has helped the two sides achieve good results in cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, culture and tourism,\u201c expressed Li Zunjing. And as the Filipino-Chinese partnership progresses, the two countries look forward in building and strengthening the bond they have established.<\/p>\n

\u201cFilipino tourists will find Beijing as a distinctly memorable destination for their bucket list. On the other hand, Beijingers and other visitors from North China can happily explore the Philippines by going on island-hopping, beach holiday, SCUBA diving and other water sports, nature and adventure, culture and heritage, education, shopping, medical and wellness travel, and farm tourism, \u201d shared Glen Agustin, Director of Office of Product and Market Development of the Philippine Department of Tourism.<\/p>\n
