Rosa Motor Works, Inc.,<\/strong> one of the largest bus manufacturing plant in the country and a member of Automotive Body Manufacturers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (ABMAP), showcased their proposed prototypes, the SR Jeep (Class ll) and the Modern PUV (Class lll) during the 1<sup>st<\/sup> Philippine Auto Parts Expo as the government is reinforcing for public utility vehicle (PUV) modernization program.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c<strong>The Modern PUV Class III<\/strong> prototype is designed to adhere regulatory guidelines of the government in delivering safety, accessibility and comfort to the commuting public,\u201d shares<strong> \u00a0Vice President, Mr. Arnold L. Agbing<\/strong>.<\/em> The Modern PUV is equipped with safety features e.g. Early Warning Device (EWD), Third Brake Light, Backup Sensor, Emergency Hammer, Fire Extinguisher, Daytime Running Lights (DRL),\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 CCTV, \u00a0Dash Cam, GPS Tracking System and Speed Limiter to ensure passengers safety. It also has a EURO4 Compliant Platform, Tap to Pay payment system, LED Perimeter Room Lamps, LED Electronic Signage, Audio System, LED Tail Light and Headlights, and Electric Folding Door likewise, it features Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Area and can carry up to a minimum of 22 passengers among others.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-5045\" src=\"http:\/\/techbeatph.com\/wproot\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/mini-bus-1-300x232.jpg\" alt=\"mini-bus\" width=\"496\" height=\"383\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techbeatph.com\/wproot\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/mini-bus-1-300x232.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.techbeatph.com\/wproot\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/mini-bus-1-768x594.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.techbeatph.com\/wproot\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/mini-bus-1-1024x791.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.techbeatph.com\/wproot\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/mini-bus-1.jpg 1039w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 496px) 100vw, 496px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Unlike other prototypes displayed at 1<sup>st<\/sup> PhilAPEX, The <strong>SR Jeep Class II<\/strong>, which is inspired by the King of the Road, is designed to preserve the face of Philippine public transportation that has become part of country\u2019s cultural heritage. It is evidently looks like the iconic jeepney yet packed with new features in compliance with safety and environmental standards as part of the PUV modernization program. <em>\u201c We wanted to preserve the Jeepney\u2019s legacy that has been part of Philippine culture. We also take pride that SR Jeep Class II body is 100% Pinoy made, This PUV modernization program is a perfect avenue for manufacturers to promote Filipino talents, and passion and Sta. Rosa Motor Works, Inc. is showcasing Filipino ingenuity thru SR Jeep Class II,\u201d added Mr. Agbing.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Some of SR Jeep Class II unique features are; Euro4 Compliant Platform, Speed Limiter, Persons with Disabilities (PWD) area, Backup Sensor, Early Warning Device (EWD), Audio System, LED Electronic Signage, LED Tail Lights, LED Perimeter Room Lamps, Daytime Running Lights (DRL), Third Brake Light and Tap to Pay payment system. In addition, it has a sufficient space for standing passengers that can haul exceeding 22 passengers, an emergency access door, fire extinguisher and a side door entry for easier access.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Sta.
