Racing Master<\/a> will bring eight of its top mobile racing players to Seoul on September 19 for the finals of the Racing Master Hyundai N Cup, a global esports tournament held with Hyundai Motor Company.<\/p>\n

The offline finals will take place at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) as part of the esports program for Game Esports Seoul (GES), an event hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government from September 18 to 20.<\/p>\n

Eight players advance from four regions<\/h4>\n

The tournament’s qualifiers ran for two months across four Asian servers: Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Hong Kong\/Macau\/Taiwan.<\/p>\n

Up to 4,000 players competed in each region, with two finalists from each server advancing to the Seoul event.<\/p>\n

The eight finalists will compete through the final bracket for the championship, with the winner receiving a $1,000 cash prize alongside in-game rewards. The remaining players will also receive prize money and rewards based on their final rankings.<\/p>\n

The quarterfinals begin at 12 p.m. GMT+7 on September 19, with the matches streamed live on YouTube. Fans attending GES can also watch the competition in person at DDP.<\/p>\n

Hyundai Elantra N becomes official competition car<\/h4>\n

The finals will use the Hyundai Elantra N, known as the Avante N in South Korea, as the tournament’s official competition vehicle.<\/p>\n

According to the organizers, this marks the first time a Hyundai N model has served as the official vehicle for a global mobile racing game tournament.<\/p>\n

The partnership also extends beyond the competition itself. Racing Master and Hyundai will operate a joint exhibition booth at DDP throughout GES, with experience zones and other activities for visitors.<\/p>\n

Racing Master brings console-style racing to mobile<\/h4>\n

Developed by NetEase Games<\/a> in collaboration with Codemasters, Racing Master is built around a realistic racing experience on mobile devices.<\/p>\n

The game uses Unreal Engine 4, global real-time lighting technology, and Codemasters’ EGO technology to recreate vehicle handling and performance. Its systems account for drivetrain configurations such as front- and rear-wheel drive, while vehicle audio was recorded from real cars.<\/p>\n

The Hyundai N Cup puts those systems into an esports setting, with the eight regional qualifiers now converging in Seoul for the final competition.<\/p>\n
