GAC says the roof can withstand loads of up to eight tons.<\/p>\n<p>Occupant protection is further supported by a seven-airbag system, including a 2.1-meter V-side air curtain and a front far-side airbag designed to reduce the risk of occupants colliding with one another during side impacts.<\/p>\n<p>The hatchback also comes with several active safety features, including autonomous emergency braking (AEB), cyclist dooring prevention, and child presence detection.<\/p>\n<h4>\u20b1998,000 introductory price in the Philippines<\/h4>\n<p>Beyond its safety credentials, the AION UT is entering the local market at an introductory price of \u20b1998,000 for the Elite variant, down from its \u20b11,068,000 SRP. All variants come with a black interior.<\/p>\n<h4>GAC expands its EV push<\/h4>\n<p>The AION UT adds another model to GAC Philippines&#8217; growing electric vehicle lineup, joining the AION Y, AION V, Hyptec HT, and AION ES.<\/p>\n<p>GAC Philippines currently operates 30 dealerships nationwide and provides EV owners with an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer basic warranty.
