The console launch also introduces platform-specific features, including DualSense support on PS5 and launch-day perks for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Meanwhile, the developers have revealed Isles of Abyss, the game’s largest expansion yet, which is scheduled to arrive across platforms in October.<\/p>\n

Once Human arrives on PS5 and Xbox<\/h4>\n

Once Human<\/a> takes place in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by Stardust, where players must survive against strange creatures and environmental threats while building their own settlements. The game revolves around anomalies, which players can harness to explore the wasteland, automate their shelters, craft equipment, and improve their combat capabilities.<\/p>\n

Console players get access to more than 300 hours of gameplay from launch, while existing PC and mobile players can continue their progress on the new platforms.<\/p>\n

The console release supports cross-play between supported platforms, cross-progression, third-person and first-person perspectives, and is available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Existing PC and mobile progression also carries over to the console versions.<\/p>\n

The addition of a first-person perspective gives players another way to experience Once Human’s combat and exploration, with the option to switch between first- and third-person views.<\/p>\n

Xbox Game Pass players get launch bonuses<\/h4>\n

Once Human is available on Xbox alongside several benefits for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.<\/p>\n

Eligible members can claim additional in-game content, including an exclusive avatar, META PASS Benefit Card, 300 Star Sources, 30-day benefits, access to more than 14 cosmetics, a Discount Voucher Bundle, and Battle Pass XP Cards.<\/p>\n

The available outfits will also receive monthly updates, giving Game Pass subscribers additional content beyond the game’s standard free-to-play offering.<\/p>\n

PS5 version uses DualSense features<\/h4>\n

The PS5 release takes advantage of the DualSense wireless controller to add tactile feedback to exploration and combat. Haptic feedback changes according to the terrain players encounter, while Adaptive Triggers provide additional resistance for certain actions, such as drawing a bow.<\/p>\n

These features give the console version a more physical connection to the game’s environments and combat mechanics.<\/p>\n

Isles of Abyss brings survival to the ocean<\/h4>\n

Alongside the console launch, Starry Studio revealed Isles of Abyss, a major expansion scheduled for October across all supported platforms. The expansion shifts the survival experience from the wasteland toward an expansive ocean environment spanning islands, the surface, and underwater areas.<\/p>\n

The arrival of Once Human on PS5 and Xbox broadens the game’s reach while keeping its existing player ecosystem connected through cross-play and cross-progression.<\/p>\n

With Isles of Abyss arriving in October, Starry Studio is also expanding the game’s survival formula beyond its established post-apocalyptic environments.<\/p>\n
