“Operational excellence starts with visibility,” said Vin Perez, Country Head of Ninja Van Philippines. “Businesses need confidence that inventory is available, products are on shelves, promotions are executed correctly, and issues can be identified before they affect customers.”<\/p>\n

Ninja FieldSight uses delivery routes and field personnel to capture information such as product availability, shelf conditions, and competitor activity. Geotagged photographs can also provide evidence of what is happening at specific locations.<\/p>\n

AI is then used to validate field submissions and organize the information into a centralized dashboard.<\/p>\n

“Inventory accuracy and operational visibility are as important as product innovation,” said Morize Arenal, Chief Inventory Officer at GRWM Cosmetics.<\/p>\n

Technology-enabled operations have helped the company synchronize inventory across channels and streamline fulfillment. More accurate information also allows teams to spend less time dealing with manual processes and more time on product development and expansion.<\/p>\n

The example highlights a broader issue for growing businesses: operational problems can become harder to manage at the same rate that sales and distribution grow.<\/p>\n

AI is becoming part of the operational layer<\/h4>\n

The growing use of AI in logistics does not necessarily mean replacing existing systems. Instead, businesses are increasingly using AI to process information collected through their existing infrastructure and turn it into actionable insights.<\/p>\n

In Ninja FieldSight’s case, AI helps validate field observations and organize data gathered during delivery operations. This reduces the amount of manual work required to transform raw observations into information that businesses can use.<\/p>\n
