Smart Communications, Inc. adds an annual roaming benefit to its premium Infinity Plans<\/a> with ROAM+, giving subscribers up to 40GB of international roaming data that can be used across multiple trips within a 365-day contract year.<\/p>\n

Unlike traditional roaming packages that users typically activate or purchase for individual trips, ROAM+ provides an annual data allocation credited at the start of the contract year. Infinity members can keep using their existing Smart number overseas and manage their remaining data through the Smart App.<\/p>\n

Smart ROAM+ offers up to 40GB of annual roaming data<\/h4>\n

The amount of roaming data available through ROAM+ depends on the member’s Infinity Plan. Infinity Plan 3500 includes 6GB, while the Infinity Plan 5000, Infinity Plan 8000, and Infinity Plan 9500 come with 20GB, 30GB, and 40GB, respectively.<\/p>\n

The allocation can be used across multiple international trips within the 365-day validity period, rather than being tied to a single journey.<\/p>\n

This gives frequent travelers a different approach to managing mobile connectivity abroad. Instead of purchasing or arranging a separate roaming package before every trip, Infinity members have a predetermined data pool available throughout their contract year.<\/p>\n

The annual roaming wallet joins the existing benefits offered to Smart Infinity members, which include Worldwide Concierge Services, complimentary airport lounge access, exclusive access to the Infinity Collection, dedicated Relationship Manager support, and 24\/7 priority assistance at Smart Stores.<\/p>\n

Smart Infinity Head Tina Montinola said the goal of ROAM+ is to make international connectivity something members can rely on without having to arrange it for every trip.<\/p>\n

First Vice President and OIC Lloyd R. Manaloto added that the feature shifts premium roaming from a trip-by-trip service toward an annual allocation that members can use whenever they travel.<\/p>\n
