Subscribers who need more data can also purchase additional allocations through the Smart App or the Smart Online Store.

Limited-time promo cuts monthly fees in half

As part of its latest campaign, Smart is offering discounted monthly fees for the first four months of service.

From July 10 to August 31, 2026, eligible customers can subscribe to Home Plan 999 for ₱499.50 per month instead of ₱999, while Home Plan 1499 is available for ₱749.50 per month instead of ₱1,499.

The promotion is available to new Smart Home WiFi Postpaid subscribers and existing Home Plan 999 customers who upgrade to Home Plan 1499. After the four-month promotional period, regular monthly fees will apply for the remainder of the contract term.

Smart recommends checking 5G coverage before applying

Because the service relies on Smart’s 5G network, customers are encouraged to verify coverage before subscribing.

Users can check availability by looking for a 5G indicator on a Smart-compatible smartphone or by using the Smart Home WiFi Postpaid 5G coverage checker on Smart’s website to confirm service availability in their barangay.

Smart also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, allowing subscribers to return the modem if their address does not receive adequate 5G coverage.

Smart expands fixed wireless broadband options

As demand for flexible home internet continues to grow, telecommunications providers are increasingly investing in 5G fixed wireless access as an alternative to fiber broadband, particularly in locations where wired infrastructure remains limited.

With broader retail availability, plug-and-play installation, and a limited-time introductory discount, Smart is positioning its Home WiFi Postpaid service as another option for households seeking faster home internet without the complexity of fiber installation.

Smart Communications has expanded the availability of Smart Home WiFi Postpaid to more than 100 Smart Stores nationwide, making its fixed wireless home internet service more accessible to households looking for an alternative to traditional fiber broadband.
