One of the biggest developments for this year’s expo is its inclusion in the 2026 ASEAN Chairship Side Events Calendar.<\/p>\n

The recognition highlights PGDX’s growing role in promoting the Philippine game development industry while creating opportunities for collaboration across Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n

Organizers say the milestone reinforces the expo’s commitment to showcasing Filipino talent and strengthening connections between developers, publishers, creators, and industry professionals throughout the region.<\/p>\n

Indie Game Stars returns to showcase Filipino developers<\/h4>\n

The Indie Game Stars (IGS) program returns as one of PGDX’s flagship initiatives supporting local game development.<\/p>\n

PGDX 2026 also introduces several new experiences for attendees.<\/p>\n

A new Tito Gaming Zone celebrates classic PC and arcade gaming, allowing visitors to revisit titles such as Counter-Strike and Tetris.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the expo has partnered with Athena Cup to stage a PUBG MOBILE competition featuring community activities, competitive matches, and prizes for participants.<\/p>\n
