Filipino ride-hailing platform Xpress Super App<\/a> has launched Xpress Go, a new TNVS<\/a> program that offers drivers zero commission for their first 60 days on the platform, as the company seeks to help drivers cope with rising operating costs and accelerate the adoption of electric and hybrid vehicles.<\/p>\n

Announced on Independence Day, the initiative includes a \u20b130 million commitment from Xpress and comes amid ongoing concerns over fuel prices and transportation costs. The company said the program was developed in coordination with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Xpress Go offers zero commission and driver incentives<\/h4>\n

Under the program, eligible TNVS drivers who activate their accounts between June 12 and August 31, 2026 will receive a 0% commission for their first 60 days on the platform, followed by a fixed 12% commission rate until December 31, 2026.<\/p>\n

Additional incentives include up to \u20b14,000 monthly through the Vehicle Branding Program, driver milestone bonuses worth up to \u20b15,000, and referral incentives of \u20b11,000 each for qualified drivers and referrers.<\/p>\n

The company said the initiative is limited to 500 drivers in Metro Manila, with priority given to operators already using hybrid or electric vehicles or those planning to transition through financing programs offered by partners.<\/p>\n

Program aims to reduce operating costs<\/h4>\n

Xpress estimates that drivers completing 10 to 12 trips daily with an average fare of \u20b1300 could retain an additional \u20b118,000 to \u20b121,600 per month compared to platforms charging 20% commissions.<\/p>\n

Over the 60-day period, potential savings could reach between \u20b136,000 and \u20b143,000 before factoring in bonuses, branding incentives, and referral rewards.<\/p>\n

The program arrives as ride-hailing drivers continue to face pressure from fuel expenses and vehicle maintenance costs, prompting calls for more sustainable earnings models within the transport sector.<\/p>\n

EV adoption remains a key focus<\/h4>\n

Beyond short-term relief, Xpress is positioning the initiative as part of its broader effort to encourage electric and hybrid vehicle adoption.<\/p>\n

The company, which describes itself as the country’s first Filipino-owned EV mobility platform, has invested in hybrid and electric fleets while forming partnerships with automakers and financing providers to support driver transitions to cleaner transportation options.<\/p>\n

Xpress said it currently operates in Metro Manila, Bataan, Pampanga, Laguna, Dumaguete, and Boracay, and has acquired more than 120 hybrid and electric vehicles. The company also maintains partnerships with BYD<\/span><\/span> and Cebuana Lhuillier<\/span><\/span>, while exploring additional fleet expansion opportunities.<\/p>\n

Growing competition in Philippine ride-hailing<\/h4>\n

The launch of Xpress Go highlights the increasingly competitive ride-hailing market in the Philippines, where platforms are exploring new ways to attract and retain drivers.<\/p>\n

While many services compete on passenger promotions, driver-focused programs such as lower commissions, financial incentives, and EV support are becoming more important as operators seek to expand their networks.<\/p>\n

For Xpress, the initiative serves both as a driver recruitment strategy and a push toward building a more sustainable mobility ecosystem centered on hybrid and electric transportation.<\/p>\n

Eligible drivers can apply through the Xpress Driver App, the company’s website, activation booths across Metro Manila, or the official Ka-Xpress Partners Facebook page.
