Launched as part of the 10-year milestone of the 1000X series, the Sony 1000X THE COLLEXION builds on Sony MDR-1000X\u2019s legacy that first debuted in 2016 under Sony<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sony positions the new model as a more design-forward evolution of its flagship headphones, using premium materials and a more ergonomic structure aimed at extended listening sessions.<\/p>\n

Key design updates include a metal headband with matte and gloss contrast finish, soft faux leather material developed over two years, a wider cushioned headband for pressure distribution, enlarged earcups for improved comfort, and two color options: White and Black.<\/p>\n

Sony 1000X THE COLLEXION also introduces updated acoustic engineering, featuring a redesigned driver unit made with a high-rigidity carbon composite dome under Sony.<\/p>\n
