Riot Games<\/span><\/span><\/a> has officially revealed Miks<\/span><\/span>, the newest Controller agent joining VALORANT<\/span><\/span><\/a>, during the grand finals of Masters Santiago<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Hailing from Croatia, Miks enters the roster with a sonic-themed toolkit built around rhythm, sound waves, and team coordination. Designed as a Controller who can support teammates while disrupting opponents, the agent channels sound energy to help squads control the tempo of the battlefield.<\/p>\n

A Tempo-Setter in the Land<\/h4>\n

Miks introduces a unique mix of team buffs, healing, crowd control, and smoke placement, reinforcing his role as a tempo-setting Controller.<\/p>\n

Harmonize allows Miks to target an ally and grant both players a Combat Stim that refreshes after each kill. The ability can also be used on himself through an alternate activation.<\/p>\n

With M-pulse, Miks deploys a device that emits sound waves on impact. Players can toggle between two modes\u2014one that concusses enemies and another that heals allies within the pulse.<\/p>\n

His smoke ability, Waveform, lets players mark locations on the map and deploy smokes at selected positions, giving teams flexible control over sightlines.<\/p>\n

Finally, Miks\u2019 ultimate ability Bassquake unleashes Sonic Radiance, pushing enemies backward while applying Deafen and Slow effects, disrupting enemy positioning during engagements.<\/p>\n

Design Clarity<\/h4>\n

The reveal cinematic also features \u201cClarity (VALORANT x BUNT. Remix)\u201d, a reimagined version of the iconic track by Zedd<\/span><\/span>, produced by rising DJ BUNT.<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

According to Riot Games\u2019 Lead Music Supervisor Jonny Altepeter<\/span><\/span>, the remix was designed to reflect the agent\u2019s vibrant identity and high-energy personality.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kevin Meier<\/span><\/span>, a game designer on VALORANT, explained that the development team built Miks\u2019 sound effects directly from musical elements.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe approached the sound design of Miks\u2019 abilities by first creating music, then extracting the most vibey elements and building the sound effects from there,\u201d Meier said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Season 2026 \/\/ Act 2 Content<\/h4>\n

Miks<\/span><\/span> will become playable in VALORANT<\/span><\/span><\/a> on March 18, 2026, arriving alongside Season 2026 \/\/ Act 2.<\/p>\n
