Nintendo<\/span><\/span><\/a> has revealed its lineup of events and promotions for MAR10 Day<\/span><\/span> 2026, marking the 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros.<\/span><\/span><\/a> and building momentum ahead of the theatrical release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie<\/span><\/span> on April 1.<\/p>\n

The annual celebration on March 10 will feature in-game events, game discounts, retail activations, and fan experiences across Nintendo platforms and partner locations.<\/p>\n

The festivities also include three weeks of competitive events tied to Mario Kart World<\/span><\/span> and a sweepstakes offering a theme park vacation to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 Players Get Mario Game Events<\/h4>\n

Players with Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 systems can revisit classic Mario titles through Nintendo Switch Online<\/span><\/span>. The subscription service offers access to retro games from the NES, Super NES, Game Boy, and other legacy platforms.<\/p>\n

Members with the Expansion Pack tier will also gain access to additional titles including Mario vs. Donkey Kong<\/span><\/span>, as well as Virtual Boy games Mario Clash<\/span><\/span> and Mario’s Tennis<\/span><\/span> during the MAR10 Day celebration.<\/p>\n

Nintendo is also running sales across selected Mario titles between March 8 and 14. Games like Super Mario 3D World + Bowser\u2019s Fury<\/span><\/span> and Super Mario Odyssey<\/span><\/span> will see temporary price reductions, while Super Mario Party Jamboree<\/span><\/span> becomes the first Nintendo Switch 2 title from Nintendo to receive a promotional discount.<\/p>\n

Mario Kart Events and Theme Park Sweepstakes<\/h4>\n

Competitive players can take part in the Mario Kart World My Nintendo Open Series, a set of weekly online races throughout March. Participants in the Americas region can earn My Nintendo Platinum Points simply by joining the events.<\/p>\n

Nintendo is also launching a sweepstakes where fans can enter for a chance to win a vacation to experience SUPER NINTENDO WORLD at either Universal Studios Hollywood<\/span><\/span> or Universal Orlando Resort<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The promotion runs through May 31 and reflects Nintendo\u2019s broader push to connect its games with theme park and entertainment experiences.<\/p>\n

MAR10 Day celebrations also serve as a promotional lead-in to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie<\/span><\/span>, the upcoming animated film from Nintendo and Illumination. The movie expands the Mario universe on the big screen and introduces characters such as Rosalina<\/span><\/span> alongside mainstays like Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi.<\/p>\n

Players can revisit the character\u2019s origins through the classic titles Super Mario Galaxy<\/span><\/span> and Super Mario Galaxy 2<\/span><\/span> on Nintendo Switch, which also receive enhancements through a free update on the Nintendo Switch 2.<\/p>\n
