Netflix has put together two things to make most binge-worthy stories from South Korea: the thrilling K-drama about ancient Korean monarchy and the threat of an impending zombie apocalypse. Set in Korea\u2019s ancient Joseon Period, \u201cKingdom\u201d follows the journey of a crown prince sent on a suicide mission to investigate a gruesome plague spreading inside the kingdom \u2014 only to find zombies threatening his reign and his people. <\/p>\n

On January 25, 2019, Netflix premiered a contagious case of binge-watch fever \u2018Kingdom\u2019 and just recently, LG Philippines recently launched its 30th Anniversary TV \u2014 the OLED B8 4K TV \u2014 and it\u2019s the best way to give justice to the thrill and excitement of \u201cKingdom\u201d and its mind-blowing cinematic appeal. <\/p>\n

A traditional Korean feast dinner was served after the Nara Team performed a traditional Korean Fan Dance before the actual viewing. <\/p>\n

LG Philippines is also delighted to share this exciting milestone with some of the country\u2019s brightest personalities as brand ambassadors, the \u2018Iron Man\u2019 of the Philippine Basketball Association LA Tenorio, actor Gil Cuerva, Bb. Pilipinas 2016 Nicole Cordoves, and Lifestyle, Travel Vlogger Dani Barreto. The event was hosted by TV Host, car and road safety advocate and LG TV Ambassador James Deakin.<\/p>\n

This growing partnership between LG Philippines and Netflix Philippines further solidifies the bond between Filipinos and Koreans. This latest event is a reminder of the strength and reliability of the flourishing friendship between the Philippines and South Korea. 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the friendship between the two nations, which started when the Philippines became the fifth country to recognize the Republic of Korea in 1949. Since then, the mutually beneficial relationship between the two countries has grown in every aspect: economically, technologically, culturally, and even in military and government support.<\/p>\n
