HUAWEI is preparing to launch the FreeBuds SE 5 MAX in the Philippines, with early access on TikTok starting November 8, 2026, at 12 AM. The earbuds will then be available through Shopee, Lazada, and the HUAWEI Online Store from November 10, 2026, at 12 PM. HUAWEI says the product will have a promotional price starting at PHP 1,999, reduced from an original price of PHP 2,999.

The HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 MAX is positioned by the company as an audio option priced below PHP 3,000 while offering up to 80 hours of total battery life when paired with its charging case. HUAWEI says this can provide more than two weeks of use. A 10-minute charge through the case is rated to deliver four hours of continuous playback.

For noise control, the earbuds offer up to 52dB of Active Noise Cancellation and are claimed by HUAWEI to silence up to 99.9% of surrounding noise. Its Dynamic 3 Multi-Mode AI Noise Cancellation system includes Ultra, Medium, and Cosy modes, which adjust to different environments. The product also includes Wind Noise Resistance and a 6-Mic AI Call Noise Cancellation system for calls in noisy surroundings.

Audio, fit, and device support

HUAWEI says each earbud weighs 4.3g and that the design was developed using more than 10 million human ear data points and 10,000 physical ear samples collected through research by HUAWEI Labs. Each box includes S, M, and L silicone ear tips.

For audio, the earbuds feature 4K-Level Hi-Res audio powered by LDAC technology, which HUAWEI says delivers three times more sound detail than standard Bluetooth connections. The setup also includes a 10mm dynamic driver. The product supports Android, iOS, and Windows devices, and can remain connected to two devices. Bluetooth 6.0 and the HUAWEI Audio Connect app are also included in the release’s list of features. The app supports gesture-control customization, 10-band EQ settings, and ANC mode adjustments.

The earbuds have an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. HUAWEI also says SGS certification covers endurance across 26 durability tests.

Loss Care service

The HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 MAX includes HUAWEI Loss Care, which takes effect upon device activation and remains valid for one year from the purchase date. Under the company’s stated terms, buyers may purchase one replacement earbud—left or right—at 50% off the original price if it is accidentally lost or damaged. The replacement is described as genuine and includes a 90-day warranty.

To claim the service, users must present the remaining earbud, charging case, and valid proof of purchase at a HUAWEI Authorized Service Center, or apply through Postal Repair. The earbuds will be offered in White, Black, and Blue, with a charging case featuring a semi-transparent top cover and matte bottom shell, according to HUAWEI.
