TCL is expanding its engagement with Philippine air-conditioning dealers, with plans to bring up to 600 business partners and industry stakeholders to its manufacturing hub in Guangzhou, China, throughout the fourth quarter of 2026.
The program began with a two-day factory tour on September 23 and 24, when the company hosted its first batch of Philippine business-to-business (B2B) dealers. The visit gave partners a closer look at the production, engineering and quality-testing processes behind TCL’s residential and commercial air-conditioning systems.
The initiative comes as TCL looks to grow its commercial air-conditioning business in the Philippines while helping dealers build their technical knowledge of the products they sell.
Inside TCL’s Guangzhou manufacturing hub
The tour took dealers to TCL’s Guangzhou Intelligent Manufacturing Base, which houses three flexible, highly automated factories, 15 research and development laboratories and 10 intelligent production lines, according to the company.

Participants saw how automation, engineering and quality-control processes are incorporated into the production of TCL air conditioners. The visit also covered the smart controls and durability testing used in developing cooling systems for residential and commercial applications.
Guangzhou is part of TCL’s wider air-conditioning manufacturing network. Other facilities in Zhongshan, Jiujiang and Wuhan support production across different product categories, while the company also operates manufacturing sites in Brazil, Argentina and Indonesia. TCL said it plans to establish additional facilities in Pakistan and Thailand over the next two years.
The factory immersion is intended to give dealers more than a product overview. Understanding how air conditioners are developed and tested can help partners explain features to customers, respond to technical questions and identify products suited to different cooling requirements.
Dealer engagement supports commercial expansion
TCL plans to continue the factory tour program through the end of 2026, with as many as 600 dealers and industry stakeholders expected to participate.
The company is positioning the initiative as part of its effort to strengthen relationships with local partners as it develops its presence in the Philippine residential and commercial air-conditioning markets.

“Our investment in smart manufacturing is driven by our commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality air conditioning solutions to customers around the world, including the Philippines,” said Randy Benito A. Raguero, business development manager at TCL Philippines.
Raguero added that TCL had produced more than 100 million air conditioners over the previous five years, citing the figure as an indication of the scale of its manufacturing operations.
He said the company also wants its dealers to understand the technology and quality processes behind its products, while building stronger relationships with the partners responsible for bringing them to Filipino customers.
Manufacturing scale behind the brand
The dealer tour reflects TCL’s broader strategy of connecting its manufacturing capabilities with its distribution network. By bringing partners directly to its facilities, the company aims to give them a clearer view of how its products are made and tested.
For TCL Philippines, the next phase will be to extend that experience to more dealers and industry stakeholders during the fourth quarter, as the company works to develop its air-conditioning business in the local market.
