vivo is bringing a 10,000mAh battery to the Philippine smartphone market with the upcoming vivo V80 Lite, while keeping the device’s design slimmer than what is typically associated with large-capacity batteries.
The V80 Lite will launch in the Philippines on October 4, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Market! Market! by Ayala Malls. Alongside its battery capacity, vivo is highlighting the phone’s 6.83-inch display, slim bezels, and three distinct finishes.
Three finishes define the V80 Lite
The V80 Lite will be available in Afterglow Pink, Emerald Green, and Dawn Black, with each variant using a different finish.
Afterglow Pink uses vivo’s Chromatic Meteor Finish, producing an iridescent effect that shifts across pink and blush tones as light hits the surface.
Emerald Green draws inspiration from the appearance of a raw emerald, while Dawn Black uses a darker base with a cool metallic sheen.
The phone also features a floating crystal camera module, with the camera lenses appearing beneath a transparent layer. A machined metal ring surrounds the module and reflects light as the device moves.
10,000mAh battery in a streamlined body
The V80 Lite packs vivo’s 10,000mAh BlueVolt Battery, the company’s largest battery capacity globally, according to vivo.
Despite the larger battery, vivo is emphasizing a streamlined exterior rather than the thicker profile often associated with high-capacity battery phones.
The device has 1.35mm ultra-slim bezels surrounding its 6.83-inch display, resulting in a 94.47% screen-to-body ratio.
“Large battery capacity and refined design do not have to be opposing priorities,” said Liu Lu, Brand Marketing Director of vivo Philippines. “With the V80 Lite, we wanted to give users the freedom of a 10,000mAh battery while creating a device they would also want to carry and use every day.”
The company said the approach extends from the phone’s finishes and camera module to its display bezels, with the design intended to balance battery capacity and everyday usability.

The vivo V80 Lite officially launches in the Philippines on October 4, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Market! Market! by Ayala Malls.
vivo has yet to disclose the Philippine price and full specifications in the announcement.
