Unboxing the vivo Watch GT: First Impressions
The vivo Watch GT arrives in a clean, minimalist box that sets the tone for what’s inside. You get the watch, a magnetic charging cable, and the usual paperwork you’ll skim once and never again. vivo Watch GT Delivers.
We reviewed the Summer Black variant, which comes with a soft rubber strap that feels light and snug on the wrist. There’s also a Cloud White version with a leather band for those who prefer a more polished look.
At just 33 grams, the Watch GT is featherlight. The matte aluminum alloy frame and Rolex-style stainless steel crown add a premium touch. Water resistance is rated at 2ATM, which means it can handle splashes and shallow dips—but don’t take it diving or into a sauna of emotions.
Design and Display: Square Never Looked So Sharp
This is vivo’s first square-faced smartwatch, and it’s a bold move that pays off. The 1.85-inch 2.5D curved AMOLED display offers a crisp 450×390 resolution and a smooth 60Hz refresh rate.
Navigation is fluid. Indoors or outdoors, the screen stays bright and responsive. Every swipe and tap registers instantly, making the UI feel intuitive and polished.

OS and Companion App: Smooth but Not Flawless
Running on vivo BlueOS, the Watch GT is snappy and responsive. The companion app, vivo Health, supports other vivo wearables and offers a clean interface.
Syncing is mostly smooth, but we did encounter occasional hiccups. Sometimes the watch forgets it’s paired and asks you to sign in again. Notifications arrive quickly, but you can’t reply to social media messages directly from the watch.
