Team Liquid PH Claims First MSC Title in Style
A Historic Run Ends in Riyadh Glory
Team Liquid Philippines has finally done it. After years of near-misses and heartbreaks, the Cavalry lifted their first-ever Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup (MSC) trophy with a commanding 4–1 victory over defending champions Selangor Red Giants OG Esports. Team Liquid PH Claims the top spot.

Held at the Amazon Esports Arena in Riyadh, the grand finals were anything but subtle. Liquid dropped Game 1, then roared back with four straight wins that felt less like a comeback and more like a coronation. The win earned them US$1,000,000 and 1,000 Club Championship points, but more importantly, it cemented their place in MLBB history.

Game 1: SRG.OG Strikes First
Selangor Red Giants OG came out swinging. Game 1 was a 15-minute clinic, ending in a 19–5 rout.
Hazziq Danish “Stormie” Rizwan’s Pharsa posted a clean 4/0/11 KDA, while John Vincent “Innocent” Banal’s Bruno shredded Liquid’s backline with 8/2/7. Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya had a rough start, falling six times, and Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno managed just one kill with Fredrinn.

It looked like SRG.OG had the blueprint. But Liquid had other plans.
Game 2: Tactical Draft, Tactical Response
Coach Rodel “Arsy” Cruz adjusted quickly. Liquid targeted Mark Genzon “KRAMM” Rusiana’s hero pool with EXP lane bans and locked in KarlTzy’s Yi Sun-shin and Kiel “OHEB” Soriano’s comfort pick, Harith.
The result? A bounce-back win in 18 minutes. OHEB went 7/0/5, KarlTzy added 4/1/9, and the momentum shifted. SRG.OG looked rattled. Liquid looked reborn.
Game 3: Sanford’s Redemption Arc
Sanford, who struggled in Game 1, came alive in Game 3. His Gloo performance (3/2/9) was disruptive and decisive.
Jaypee “Jaypee” dela Cruz played the perfect support on Baxia, racking up 12 assists and anchoring team fights. Liquid closed the game in just 14 minutes, and suddenly, they were up 2–1.
Game 4: Liquid Unleashed
Game 4 was a demolition. Liquid crushed SRG.OG 19–2 in just 10 minutes.
KarlTzy’s Hayabusa went 4/0/10, Sanji’s Novaria controlled the map, and OHEB’s Claude danced through SRG’s defenses. Muhammad Haqqullah “Sekysss” Zaman’s Lancelot was completely shut down.
It was a statement win. Liquid was one game away from the crown.
Game 5: The Granger Grand Finale
OHEB saved his best for last. His Granger exploded for a 13/1/2 KDA, while Alston “Sanji” Pabico’s Zhuxin dished out 15 assists without dying.
SRG.OG tried to hold the line, but Liquid’s final midlane push was unstoppable. The defending champs folded, and the Filipino squad finally claimed their MSC crown.
Sanford Named Finals MVP
Sanford’s turnaround was poetic. From a shaky opener to consistent impact, he averaged 2 kills, 3.2 deaths, and 6.8 assists across the series.
He earned the Finals MVP title and a US$10,000 bonus, proving that resilience pays off.

KarlTzy: The GOAT Conversation Ends Here
KarlTzy didn’t just win. He completed the MLBB championship cabinet.
At just 20 years old, he now holds every major title: M2 World Championship, SEA Games gold, multiple MPL PH titles, and now, the elusive MSC crown.
There’s no debate left. He’s the most decorated MLBB player of all time.
ONIC PH Completes the Podium
Meanwhile, ONIC Philippines secured third place after a gritty 3–2 win over sibling squad ONIC Indonesia.
ONIC ID looked dominant early, taking a 2–1 lead. But Duane “Kelra” Pillas led a spirited comeback, winning two straight games to seal the bronze.
It was a fitting end for the M6 world champions, who continue to prove they belong among the elite.
Team Liquid PH Claims Filipino Esports: Back on Top

With Team Liquid PH crowned champions and ONIC PH finishing third, the Philippines reclaims its place at the top of the MLBB world.
The last time a Filipino squad won MSC was in 2022. This year, they didn’t just win—they dominated.
And if this run is any indication, the region’s golden era might just be getting started.
