MIAS 2026 to put spotlight on auto industry’s future

As the automotive industry accelerates toward a future defined by smarter, more connected mobility, the Manila International Auto Show is set to return in 2026 with a renewed focus on how vehicles—and the technologies behind them—are evolving.

Organized by Worldbex Services International, it will take place from April 9 to 12 at the World Trade Center. The event will run daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Following its milestone 20th anniversary edition, the country’s longest-running automotive show is positioning its next chapter.

A platform shaped by two decades of industry growth

MIAS has served as a barometer for the Philippine automotive landscape for two decades. Over years, it saw reflecting shifts in design, performance, and technology across passenger vehicles, motorcycles, and commercial transport. The 2026 theme underscores the industry’s continued push toward innovation—whether through electrification, smarter mobility solutions, or advances in vehicle engineering.

That momentum was evident during last year’s MIAS, which drew more than 170,900 visitors and featured over 145 exhibitors across 33,000 square meters of exhibit space. The event showcased more than 310 vehicles, highlighting the growing appetite for automotive experiences that go beyond static displays.

Brand launches and hands-on mobility experiences

At the core of MIAS 2026 is the Mobility Marathon, a multi-day series of vehicle launches where participating brands will unveil new models and technologies to the public. The Test Drive Avenue complements these launches, allowing visitors to experience select vehicles beyond the show floor.

The event will also continue to feature dedicated zones that cater to different segments of the industry. These include the Truck Zone for commercial and heavy-duty vehicles. The Car Club Display meanwhile have automotive communities from across the country showcase customized and enthusiast-owned builds. Collectors can also expect the return of the Die-Cast Car Collection, highlighting rare and specialty scale models.

Celebrating craftsmanship and automotive culture

Beyond new vehicles and technology, MIAS remains a venue for celebrating automotive creativity. The MIAS Petron Custom and Classic Car Competition, held in partnership with Petron, returns to recognize standout classic restorations and custom builds across multiple categories.

The event will also once again feature Ms. MIAS, a pageant representing participating automotive brands, continuing a long-running tradition that blends automotive culture with lifestyle elements.

Driving the conversation on mobility forward

As mobility becomes a central theme in conversations around sustainability, urban planning, and transportation access, MIAS 2026 aims to present a broader picture of where the automotive industry is headed—and how brands are responding to changing demands.

MIAS 2026 runs from April 9 to 12, 2026 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila. Tickets are available via the event’s official platform. Proceeds from the event will benefit the ABS-CBN Foundation Inc.
