Miss Philippines Earth 2025 Joy Barcoma to test HONOR X9d 5G durability at Shopee Live on Wheels

HONOR Philippines has partnered with Shopee Philippines for Shopee Live on Wheels, a consumer-facing activation aimed at showcasing the durability of the HONOR X9d 5G ahead of its nationwide launch.

The event runs from January 20 to 24 at Market! Market! in Taguig, giving the public a closer look at HONOR’s latest smartphone through live demonstrations, promotions, and on-site activities.

Miss Philippines Earth 2025 Joy Barcoma is set to headline the activation. During a live Shopee session, Barcoma will put the HONOR X9d 5G through a durability challenge, including a toughness comparison against the all-steel Tesla Cybertruck.

According to HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng, the partnership allows consumers to experience the device before it officially hits stores.

“We are nearing the official nationwide availability of our toughest phone to date, the HONOR X9d 5G,” Cheng said. “This collaboration with Shopee lets our fans experience the device firsthand before its official launch.”

What to expect at HONOR x Shopee Live on Wheels

Viewers who pre-order the HONOR X9d 5G during Barcoma’s Shopee Live session will receive a free Jisulife Life Fan 5 and can avail of up to six months of 0% installment options. One customer will also win a free HONOR X9d 5G each day throughout the activation period.

The HONOR X9d 5G is priced at ₱17,999 and remains available for pre-order until January 23. Each pre-order also qualifies buyers for a chance to win a Tesla Cybertruck valued at ₱17 million.

The campaign forms part of HONOR Philippines’ broader push to highlight the X9d 5G’s durability ahead of its official retail release.
