HONOR Philippines launches Fan Fest to celebrate HONOR X9d 5G
HONOR Philippines is turning its latest smartphone launch into a fan-driven celebration.
Ahead of the nationwide release of the HONOR X9d 5G, the brand announced its first-ever HONOR Fan Fest, set to take place on January 24 at SM Megamall Fashion Hall. The event marks a milestone moment for HONOR as it brings together music, community, and its most durable smartphone yet.
HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng said the Fan Fest reflects the brand’s growing position in the mid-range market and the support it has received from Filipino consumers over the past three years.
“We have been planning this for years, and we are very happy that this has come to life at the perfect time,” Cheng said. “The success of the X Series puts us in a strong position, and this celebration is our way of thanking our loyal HONOR fans.”
OPM icons headline the HONOR X9d 5G Fan Fest
The Fan Fest will feature live performances from OPM acts across generations.
Sponge Cola will headline the event, joined by emerging artists HORI7ON, Fitterkarma, Shanne Dandan, Figvres, and Pommelo. HONOR is positioning the gathering as both a music event and a brand experience, with on-site activities and giveaways planned throughout the day.
Fans attending the event will also have a chance to win HONOR X9d 5G smartphones, exclusive HONOR x Linya-Linya collaboration shirts, and other limited merchandise.
The toughest HONOR phone yet
HONOR is using the Fan Fest to spotlight what it calls the toughest smartphone in its lineup.
The HONOR X9d 5G features all-around drop, water, and dust resistance, backed by the industry-first SGS Triple Resistant Premium Performance Certification. The device also carries the SGS 5-Star Comprehensive Reliability Certification, confirming resistance to drops of up to 2.5 meters.
HONOR says the phone’s durability comes from its Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology, reinforced by non-Newtonian fluid protection and ultra-tough deep-tempered glass. The build is designed to withstand harsher surfaces, including stone ground impact.
Pre-orders near close as launch approaches
Priced at ₱17,999, the HONOR X9d 5G remains available for pre-order until January 23.
Each pre-order qualifies buyers for a chance to win a Tesla Cybertruck valued at ₱17 million. The device is available through HONOR Experience and Partner Stores, as well as Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop.
HONOR is also offering flexible payment options through Home Credit, with plans starting at ₱24 per day and an additional ₱1,000 discount. The financing promo runs until February 15, 2026.
With the Fan Fest, HONOR Philippines is signaling a more community-focused approach as it prepares to roll out the HONOR X9d 5G nationwide.
