PLDT Enterprise Strengthens Connectivity for ZANECO in Zamboanga del Norte
PLDT Enterprise has strengthened its partnership with the Zamboanga del Norte Electric Cooperative to improve digital connectivity and customer communication across the province, even during emergency power shutdowns.
The collaboration leverages iGate and the Smart Messaging Suite, enhancing ZANECO’s ability to serve consumers with faster, more reliable information during power disruptions.
Reliable Connectivity for Utility Operations
With PLDT Enterprise’s iGate solution, ZANECO now has stable internet connectivity to power its online platforms for customer inquiries and service updates.
The Smart Messaging Suite, an application-to-person communication tool, allows ZANECO to send real-time alerts and advisories directly to members. This ensures communities across Zamboanga del Norte receive timely updates on power interruptions or other critical announcements. The cooperative also operates a digital broadcasting platform that uses PLDT’s network to expand its reach and improve response times.
“With the help of PLDT Enterprise, ZANECO can now stay consistently online and communicate efficiently with our members and consumers. This partnership allows us to better manage inquiries and deliver information faster, especially during power interruptions,” said Atty. Jordanne Chan-Antonio, General Manager of ZANECO.
