TCL Triumphs with Four Wins at the 61st Anvil Awards
TCL Electronics marked a major milestone in its Philippine operations after securing four awards at the 61st Anvil Awards Gabi ng Parangal, held on January 28 at Solaire Resort in North Quezon City.
The recognition marks TCL’s first appearance on the Anvil Awards winners’ list, placing the brand among the country’s top-performing communicators in public relations, marketing, and corporate responsibility.
Four Anvil Awards Across CSR, Government Relations, and Marketing
TCL’s wins highlight a range of initiatives spanning social impact, government collaboration, and brand communication. The TCL–TESDA Air Conditioning Training Program earned both Gold in Good Governance and Silver in Government Relations.
The TCL x Olympic Basketball Project received a Silver Anvil under Corporate Social Responsibility, while the TCL FreshIN 3.0 Campaign also secured a Silver Anvil in the Marketing and Brand Communication category.
“These awards reflect the work we’ve done to align innovation with meaningful impact,” said Joseph Cernitchez, Brand Manager of TCL Philippines. “Being recognized across multiple categories reinforces our commitment to responsible communication and long-term value for our communities.”
Anvil Awards Recognize Excellence in Strategic Communication
Organized annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the Anvil Awards are regarded as one of the most prestigious recognitions in the local communications industry.
The program honors public relations tools, campaigns, and programs that demonstrate strategic insight, creativity, and measurable results. Entries are evaluated by a multi-sectoral jury composed of communication professionals, academics, and industry leaders.

Gold Win Highlights TCL–TESDA Training Program
TCL’s highest recognition came from the Public Relations Program for Corporate Responsibility and Good Governance category. The Gold-winning TCL–TESDA Training Center focuses on addressing workforce skill gaps in the air-conditioning and climate control sector.
The program provides hands-on technical training under TCL specialists and introduces a structured pathway from enrollment to employment. Graduates can transition directly into certified roles within TCL’s service ecosystem, creating a sustainable talent pipeline.
The initiative also earned a Silver Anvil in the Government Relations category, recognizing its collaboration with TESDA and alignment with national skills development goals.
Silver Honors for Basketball CSR and FreshIN 3.0 Campaign
TCL’s Basketball Camp initiative received a Silver Anvil for Corporate Social Responsibility. The program provided young athletes with access to training, mentorship, and development opportunities, reinforcing TCL’s youth-focused outreach through sports and education.
Meanwhile, the FreshIN 3.0 Campaign earned recognition for executing a consumer-centric marketing strategy. The campaign combined experiential activations, on-ground engagement, and multi-channel communication to strengthen brand visibility and audience connection.
Brand Momentum in the Philippines
The FreshIN 3.0 campaign also integrated product showcases with skills-building initiatives in partnership with TESDA, reflecting TCL’s broader strategy of linking product innovation with workforce development.
With its first Anvil Awards wins, TCL strengthens its position as a key player in both consumer electronics and strategic brand communication in the Philippines.
