HONOR Philippines opened 2026 on a high note as the newly launched HONOR X9d 5G posted a 160% jump in first-day sales compared to its predecessor, the HONOR X9c 5G. The device officially went on sale nationwide on January 24, marking one of the brand’s strongest retail debuts to date.
The milestone capped a month-long launch push that included viral durability drop tests, a high-profile experiential event featuring the Tesla Cybertruck, and a grand launch held at the Grand Hyatt.
Strong Start for HONOR in 2026
HONOR Philippines credited the early success to strong consumer demand and sustained engagement leading up to the release.

Built Around Durability
HONOR positions the X9d 5G as one of its most durable smartphones to date. The device features all-around drop, water, and dust resistance, with protection designed to withstand drops of up to 2.5 meters on select surfaces.
The phone is reinforced with HONOR Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology, a non-Newtonian fluid layer, and deep-tempered ultra-tough glass. According to the company, the structure protects against multiple stone-ground impact scenarios and extreme stress tests.
Fan Fest Marks Nationwide Release
To celebrate the retail launch, HONOR held a fan fest on January 24 at SM Megamall Fashion Hall. The event featured performances and appearances from Sponge Cola, HORI7ON, Fitterkarma, Shanne Dandan, Figvres, and Pommelo.
Pre-order customers received exclusive HONOR collaboration shirts with Linya-Linya, alongside prizes and on-site activities throughout the event.

The HONOR X9d 5G is available nationwide in Reddish Brown, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Gold. It is priced at ₱18,999, bundled with a free HONOR Gift Box and Jisulife Life Fan5.
The smartphone is available through HONOR Experience Stores, partner retailers, and online platforms including Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop. Financing options are also available through Home Credit, with payments starting as low as ₱24 per day and an additional ₱1,000 discount until February 15, 2026.
