HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i to Launch in PH on Feb. 2
HUAWEI is starting 2026 with a major push in the mid-range audio market. The company will launch the HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i in the Philippines on February 2, positioning it as the strongest ANC earbuds available under PHP 5,000.
Aimed at young professionals, creators, and mobile gamers, the FreeBuds 7i focuses on three core pillars: stronger noise cancellation, immersive audio, and clearer calls for everyday use.
Stronger ANC for everyday environments
The FreeBuds 7i is powered by Intelligent Dynamic ANC 4.0, delivering an average full-band noise reduction of 28 dB, with peak cancellation reaching up to 55 dB. Instead of emphasizing isolated frequency peaks, HUAWEI says the system prioritizes consistent noise reduction across a wider sound range.
This approach better matches real-world environments such as public transport, cafés, and shared workspaces.
The ANC system is supported by an 8 mm² rear vent and a super-sized air guide cavity, which improves noise absorption and detection. HUAWEI also claims a 50% faster ANC response time, activating in under 0.5 seconds.

To improve fit, the FreeBuds 7i introduces an extra-small ear tip size, joining the standard small, medium, and large options.
Spatial audio and larger dynamic drivers
Beyond noise cancellation, the FreeBuds 7i adds Unlimited Spatial Audio powered by a built-in Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). The six-axis sensor enables head tracking, creating a dynamic 3D soundstage that adjusts as users move.
Unlike other spatial audio implementations, the feature works across both Android and iOS, regardless of device or content source.
Audio is driven by an 11 mm quad-magnet dynamic driver, paired with Hi-Res Audio certification. HUAWEI says the setup delivers deeper bass, clearer treble, and a balanced sound profile suited for music, gaming, videos, and calls.
Clearer calls with six-mic system
For communication, the FreeBuds 7i uses a six-microphone system, with three microphones in each earbud. The setup can suppress up to 90 dB of ambient noise, supported by a bone-conduction microphone, Voice Pickup Unit (VPU), and AI-powered call noise reduction.

This allows clearer voice capture in noisy environments such as busy streets, cafés, and public transport.
The earbuds also support head motion controls, letting users answer or reject calls with a nod or shake. Touch and swipe controls remain available for playback and ANC adjustments.
Built for daily use
Each earbud features a lightweight, ergonomic design with an improved arc-shaped stem for better grip. The large vent design helps reduce ear pressure during long listening sessions.
The FreeBuds 7i is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, making it suitable for commutes, workouts, and daily wear. It also supports dual-device connectivity and works seamlessly across Android and iOS devices.
Battery life reaches up to 35 hours with the charging case. Fast charging allows up to four hours of listening from a 10-minute charge.
With the FreeBuds 7i, HUAWEI is setting a new benchmark in the sub-PHP 5,000 segment, combining aggressive ANC performance with premium audio features typically found at higher price points.
The HUAWEI FreeBuds 7i launches in the Philippines on February 2, 2026.
