What Is a Set Revival in Teamfight Tactics?
TFT’s set revival system allows players to revisit past champion rosters and traits, fine-tuned with modern gameplay improvements.
As part of its fourth set revival, Remix Rumble offers:
- Classic mechanics with updated balancing
- New Augments and Opening Encounters
- Integration with current TFT Cyber City mechanics

This limited-time game mode is free for all players, making it the perfect opportunity for fans to reignite their love for this music-themed set.

New Set Revival Augments That Turn Up the Volume
Remix Rumble Revival isn’t just a simple re-release. New Augments have been introduced to enhance team compositions and strategic depth.
Some of the most exciting additions include:
- Rap Queen (K/DA + True Damage) – The strongest Akali boosts all K/DA and True Damage champions.
- Retro Gamers (Heartsteel + 8-bit) – Heartsteel champions gain Attack Damage based on 8-bit champions.
- The Band Is All Here! (Pentakill + Punk) – Pentakill champions gain damage amplification based on Punk synergy.
- Rave Festival (Disco + EDM) – Disco Balls cast EDM abilities with partial effectiveness.
- Mesmerizing Performance (K/DA) – Non-K/DA units dance uncontrollably for two seconds mid-fight.
- Party Starters (Crowd Divers) – Crowd Divers gain attack speed and leap at 50% health.
- Shield Bash (Sentinels) – Sentinels gain bonus resistance and deal magic damage based on their defenses.
These Augments will create chaotic yet thrilling gameplay, giving players new ways to strategize and build their dream compositions.

Opening Encounters and Cyber City Mechanics
To shake up the revival experience, TFT is integrating current Cyber City mechanics into Opening Encounters, adding a fresh twist to Remix Rumble.
Notable encounters include:
- Ahri Headliner Boost – Headliners appear in the shop as if the player is one level higher.
- Akali Trait Expansion – Headliners will now grant an extra trait bonus.
- Zac’s Cyber City Takeover – The futuristic Cyber City mechanic brings Hacks into Remix Rumble Revival.
These mechanics ensure that players experience dynamic and unpredictable battles throughout the event.

Bag Size Adjustments for Fairer Gameplay
With the return to a shared champion pool, TFT has adjusted bag sizes to help reroll compositions flourish—even when multiple players chase the same units.
The updated bag sizes are:
- 1-cost units – 50 copies
- 2-cost units – 40 copies
- 3-cost units – 30 copies
- 4-cost units – 12 copies
- 5-cost units – 10 copies
These changes make it easier to secure key champions without excessive competition, ensuring a fairer and more strategic metagame.
Revival Ladder and Event Pass Rewards
Players who loved climbing the ranks in past set revivals will be happy to know that the Revival Ladder is back.
This progression system allows players to earn ranks and free rewards based on skill and performance.
Additionally, a new Event Pass is available for 975 RP, offering Remix Rumble-themed cosmetics, including:
- New board skins
- Emotes and special effects
- The debut of the Pentakill Siege Minion Little Legend
These additions give players more ways to personalize their experience while competing for high ranks on the Revival Ladder.
TFT’s Ongoing Commitment to Creativity and Competitive Play
Teamfight Tactics has continuously evolved, offering players new ways to engage with League of Legends’ iconic universe.
Christina Jiang, Senior Product Manager for TFT, shared the vision behind the revival:
“We’re excited to bring players along the Headliners’ return tour with Revival: Remix Rumble. With its innovative soundtrack and artist collaborations, Remix Rumble marked a pivotal moment in TFT’s history and offered players a unique opportunity to create their own symphony of chaos.”
By blending music festival aesthetics with strategy gameplay, TFT continues to offer dynamic experiences that make every match a unique puzzle to solve.
Last Chance to Join Remix Rumble Revival
The limited-time return of Remix Rumble will end with patch 14.8 on July 29, 2025.
Players have just a few months to experience this high-energy set, experiment with new Augments and mechanics, and climb the Revival Ladder before it disappears once again.
