This landmark event, launching on May 2, 2025, marks MLBB’s largest-ever content drop, bringing a wave of new skins, a Naruto-themed game interface, a limited-time map, and exclusive rewards packed with Easter eggs.
Fans of Naruto and MLBB will now get the chance to experience ninja-themed gameplay, complete with cosmetic upgrades that bring the Hidden Leaf Village’s most iconic characters into the Land of Dawn.
Five Exclusive Crossover Skins Featuring Team 7
One of the most exciting reveals is the introduction of five special skins, allowing players to become legendary ninjas while battling across MLBB’s universe.
The crossover skins include Team 7’s iconic lineup:
- Naruto Uzumaki (as Lukas)
- Sasuke Uchiha (as Suyou)
- Sakura Haruno (as Kalea)
- Kakashi Hatake (as Hayabusa)
Additionally, Gaara, one of Naruto’s most beloved characters, will also join the event, appearing as Vale.
Players will be able to claim Vale’s Gaara skin for free by participating in event challenges, while the rest of Team 7 will be available through the draw event.
Crafting an Authentic Fusion of Two Universes
Integrating Naruto into MLBB was not a simple task. According to Lyn Xi, Naruto Collaboration Lead at MOONTON Games, the team spent months refining the skins to ensure they remained authentic—both in appearance and gameplay mechanics.
“Selecting which MLBB heroes would receive Naruto skins was no easy task,” said Lyn Xi. “Each design had to feel true to the hero’s abilities, traits, and lore while also capturing the essence of Naruto’s universe. We took into account character synergies, fan expectations, and overall gameplay experience. We are confident that this crossover offers an exciting fusion of two beloved franchises that will thrill MLBB and Naruto fans alike.”
Alongside the hero skins, MLBB will introduce themed cosmetic items, including:
- Chat bubbles
- Sacred statues
- Battle emotes
- Special effects inspired by Naruto’s world
New Gameplay Enhancements: Sacred Statue & Loading Effect
The MLBB x Naruto event will also debut two new in-game item types:
- Common Sacred Statue – Players can replace an allied turret’s appearance, adding a Naruto-themed element to their battles. MLBB’s first Common Sacred Statue will be for Gamakichi, Naruto’s trusted toad summon, which will be available via the draw event. Unlike traditional Sacred Statues, which are hero-specific, the Common Sacred Statue can be deployed by any hero.
- Loading Effect – This feature alters the pre-match screen, creating a Naruto-inspired battle setup before entering the game. Naruto and Sasuke will each have unique Loading Effects, available through the draw event.
Naruto Takes Over the Land of Dawn
Fans logging into MLBB on May 2 will immediately notice the transformation. The game will unveil a Naruto-themed interface, embracing a fully immersive crossover experience.
A limited-time map filled with Easter eggs will also debut, allowing players to uncover:
- Ichiraku Ramen, Naruto’s favorite restaurant, placed strategically in the side lane
- Madara Uchiha, one of the most infamous Naruto antagonists, replacing the Elemental Lord
- Additional hidden elements, placed throughout the map, waiting to be discovered by sharp-eyed players
MLBB has executed its own Transformation Jutsu, ensuring players feel deeply connected to the Naruto universe throughout the event.
The MLBB Ninjutsu Academy: Rewards and Giveaways
MOONTON Games has upped the stakes by introducing the MLBB Ninjutsu Academy, an interactive system of missions and rewards.
Players can win an iPhone 16 Pro, hero skins, and exclusive in-game items by completing event challenges and earning Ninjutsu Skill Scrolls. These scrolls unlock sure-win draws, ensuring players can collect premium rewards simply by engaging in the event.
