FindWork and TESDA Partnership Promises Jobs

FindWork and TESDA Partnership Promises Jobs
Coinciding with TESDA’s 24th anniversary, it has forged a partnership with job-matching app FindWork in an effort to open more doors for the country’s blue-collar job hunters. Last August 25, TESDA also conducted its first ever Technical Vocation Day attended by over 1,000 TESDA scholars.

Findwork and TESDA’s main objective for the Technical Vocation Day is to help the 4.1 million TESDA-certified graduates (2.1 million graduates and 2 million upcoming graduates) find a job that fits their skills and qualifications. With FindWork, TESDA graduates have an edge because they are automatically included in the FindWork database that is used by the job-matching app’s partner employers. This means that FindWork and TESDA will work hand in hand to ensure that Filipino blue-collar and service workers are provided the skills, the certification, and, ultimately, the job that matches their overall capabilities.
With the FindWork app, they will get higher chances of landing a suitable job using only their smartphone. Creating a FindWork profile means you put it out there to be matched with employers depending on your skills, certification, and geolocation. What’s more, you don’t have to sit, wait, and wonder whether the companies you applied for are actually interested in you. With the FindWork app, you get feedback within five (5) business days–whether you get shortlisted for an interview or not.
FindWork has also signed the Covenant Wall of Support together with TESDA and DOLE. Through this covenant, the job-matching app promises to work hand in hand with the two government agencies in providing more job opportunities to Filipino blue-collar and service workers.
